The Computer Aided Drug Design 2011 (CADD 2011) Workshop
The Computer Aided Drug Design 2011 (CADD 2011) Workshop will be held from 5-8th December 2011 following InCoB/ISCB-Asia 2011. The venue of this workshop is the Island of Penang which is famous as a top tourist location. The first day of this workshop is the CADD Seminar where top scientists from US, Europe, Japan and ASEAN will talk about their latest research. Amongst these are Professor Federico Gago (University of Alcala, Madrid, Spain), Professor Arthur Olson (TSRI, La Jolla, USA), and Professor Haruki Nakamura (Osaka University, Japan). The programme on the final three days comprises of lectures and case studies (by Accelrys, Inteligand) conducted specifically on areas of interest in drug design. InCoB participants will enjoy a 20% discount on the registration fees.
Students are encouraged to present posters (selected posters will be upgraded to oral presentations) and to also apply for 10 CADD travel awards sponsored by Accelrys, Protein Data Bank Japan (PDBj) and University Sains Malaysia.
